Frequently asked about Campi Climb & Descent
- What makes the Campi tour a classic of Arco MTB?
- Campi has been a reference climb for Lake Garda mountain bikers since the 1990s — a 400 m forested ascent above Arco followed by a flowing, beginner-friendly descent on hand-built singletrack.
- Is the Campi descent technical?
- Mostly no. It is a wide, smooth flow trail with bermed corners — the perfect first off-road descent. A few short rocky steps can be walked if needed.
- How long is the Campi MTB tour?
- About 3 hours total: 15 km, 400 m of climbing, and roughly half of that distance on the descent. Easy half-day option from Arco or Riva.
- Can I do Campi on an e-bike?
- Yes — and it is a great way to enjoy several laps of the descent in one ride without burning out on the climb.
What riders say about Campi Climb & Descent
We booked an MTB tour with Alexey to Campi in October 2025. We ride at an intermediate level and were looking for a guide who knows scenic but not too difficult trails. It was the right choice: beautiful views and a safe pace. Special thanks for the photos and stories about local history. We'll definitely be back!
